Pluie/Noir Podcast 023
Visual Interpretation by Vitrio.
Pluie/Noir Podcast is a bi-monthly audio-visual episode representing our work as an artist collective. Each episode will feature a one hour collage/mix by one of our producers/djs and a poster triptych by one of our designers.
We interviewed both artists and dropped some questions about their vision:
How are you?
You're the new portuguese addition. What do you do for a living?
At moment i'm focusing on music, I'm in a deep relation with that.
So many! I've been recording ten tracks a day, I have to filter all I do in some way.
There's a retro-futuristic vision on your podcast. How do you feel about it?
I don't know, i don't think about that! it's the tracks i´ve been listening to in the last weeks.
What's in your plans for 2013?
I don't have plans. I wanna play live, maybe record some EP´s, write a book, be famous, buy a house, drink cocktails...
Welcome back mr. Vitrio. How's life?
Working like crazy (pt.1).
2012 was a busy year for you?
Working like crazy (pt.2).
What are you working on at the moment?
Working like crazy (pt.3 '13 version).
Your triptych is, again, strong on visual meaning. What can you tell us about it?
It's mostly about confrontation of time and space. It's a representation of how a 'future gallery' would look like regarding a childs perception (my nephew/ 9 years old). I asked him and he started talking about video games, Nintendo 3ds and augmented Reality... So I've came up with this amateur, somehow ridiculous, representation of an art gallery in a near future, showcasing some of the icons of our current generation.
2013 is here.. what's next?
(At least) this month I will be showing some work at Tenderpixel (an amazing art gallery in London). I'm also compiling some work for a book, managing an editorial about internet censorship (hopefully to be published soon), making some material for a collective project I hope to show soon as well and, of course, preparing a new year for ofluxo.net
